The Palm
Jupiter, Florida

A renovated and rejuvenated abode located in a private golf community in Florida became a tropical home away from home for this longtime SV Design client. After meticulously searching for the perfect golf-centric hideaway, the client purchased this home on a spectacular lot with ideal solar orientation to allow for a flood of natural light.

Despite its concrete masonry, SV Design was able to open the layout of the home to accentuate views of the golf course and replace arched doorways and windows with the client’s vision of ‘modern metal.’

Desiring a home more modern than their other properties, our interiors and décor team worked closely with the client to design a light, airy space with natural materials and pops of color.

Thoughtfully designed organization and ample storage was imperative to the redesign of the conventional Floridian home lacking basement and attic spaces. The open kitchen features two islands and a strategically placed wet bar for entertaining guests, along with custom built-ins storing a coffee bar and small appliances. Unique details such as glass tower cabinets flanking the bar, a concaved nook behind the range, and brass sphere light fixtures elevate the space with a contemporary aesthetic.

As one of the family, the homeowners’ dogs guided several pet-friendly features such as a built-in food station and a napping nook under the staircase.

The laundry and mudroom spaces provide organized alcoves for storing dog leashes, golf attire, and everyday utility items.

This private, yet airy, home near the Florida coast is now a place for luxury living and entertaining at its finest.
