Olde Cape Charm

Far off the beaten path, down a bumpy dirt road lies a surprisingly elegant family retreat. With an open bay on one side and wooded estuaries on another, one is struck by the feel of "Olde Cape" when admiring views from the property. The architects of SV Design looked to utilize this home's unique setting by bringing the outdoors in to enhance the interior and exterior of this seaside haven. The result is a culmination of individually serene and calming spaces, artfully layered to create a series of connected entertaining spaces interspersed with intimate nooks.

SV Design worked hand in hand with the home's owners to curate a calm interior palette with pops of color and pattern, making the home a happy place. Textures reflect the striations of the water and sand while hues of blue flow through every room. Furniture was carefully selected to suit the family's unique lifestyle and tastes. Looking to turn design challenges into opportunity, our interior designers eliminated the need to find a location for the family dog crate and designed a built-in abode in a pantry base cabinet.

The home now has a harmonious, timeless design to be enjoyed for years to come.
