Peter Frates Hall at Endicott College is a three-story, 39,000 square-foot dorm overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and is a prominent feature on Endicott’s picturesque campus. The residence hall houses 225 freshmen, and features study and lounge areas on each floor, plus outdoor spaces for formal and informal interaction. To meet the changing requirements of the academic calendar, an innovative modular unit system was specified and assembled on-site. A gallery in the first-floor lounge tells the inspiring story of Peter Frates, a renowned Beverly resident who co-founded the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise awareness for ALS, after he himself was diagnosed with the devastating disease in 2013.
