SV Design Receives Awards for Excellence in Architecture and Interior Design
SV Design received multiple awards recently for its excellence in architecture and interior design, including two BRAGB (Builders & Remodelers Association of Greater Boston) Prism Awards; three Northshore Home BONS Awards; and was named one of the Top 50 Coastal Architects by Ocean Home Magazine.
SV Design received a BRAGB Gold Prism Award for ‘Best Historical Renovation’ and its role in reviving the iconic summer cottage built by Captain John Hammond Jr. in Chatham in the early 1900’s. The renovation was thoughtfully intended to preserve the home’s authentic character white creating a modern, functional space for the enjoyment of many generations to come.
A BRAGB Silver Prism Award was also given to the Cabot Street YMCA Affordable Housing project team for its leadership in ensuring affordable, safe places for residents to call home. The project team included folks from SV Design, Windover Construction, and YMCA of the North Shore. This project involved a complete renovation and vertical expansion of the iconic YMCA building in Beverly, which now houses 67 individuals in studio units.
Additionally, SV Design was awarded three Northshore Home BONS Awards this fall, presented by Northshore Home Magazine: Best Contemporary Architect (Reader’s Choice), Best Coastal Architect (Reader’s Choice), and Best Contemporary Interior Design (Editor’s Choice).
The firm was also named one of the Top 50 Coastal Architects in Ocean Home Magazine’s October – November issue.
