"First House on the Right"
Marblehead, Massachusetts

Once a grand coastal home rivaling those on Marblehead Neck, this structure has seen the loss of its original hipped roof to a fire, the loss of its detached carriage house due to storms, and an overall battering due to a lack of maintenance for nearly 50 years.

Originally built over 100 years ago, this decaying Atlantic Avenue mansion adjacent to Preston Beach, had long been neglected and had been in a semi-ruined state - until now. The new owners of the property have plans to restore this home to its entitled grandeur, and they turned to Siemasko + Verbridge for their expertise.

First, the original roof form and dormers will be recreated on the main house. The recreation of the roof will restore the original appearance of the structure and add a small amount of interior space to the structure. Second, the original carriage house will be reconceived as an attached structure to the main house. Third, the landscape and hardscape areas will improve upon the existing weedy nature of the site. Site amenities such as a pool, terraces, low stone retaining walls, stairs and more thoughtful landscaping treatments will bring this structure back to its original state, while providing contemporary amenities and usefulness for a 21st century family life.

Riverview School
East Sandwich, Massachusetts

Riverview School is an independent coeducational residential school, providing a caring community for adolescents and young adults with complex language, learning and cognitive disabilities.

Siemasko + Verbridge is providing architectural, interior and landscape design services for Riverview School's new Student Center. The design plans include a 325 seat auditorium; a multi-purpose lobby, including a cafe and gallery area; Admissions and Operations offices; and new classrooms for the Arts.

The design is inspired by the over-riding goal that each student be able to reach their full potential in a safe environment. Siemasko + Verbridge's design invites a sense of community into the life of the school and creates a welcoming presence for both students and prospective families.

The Lyceum
Salem, Massachusetts

Restaurant Revamped!

Siemasko + Verbridge has just completed design work for The Lyceum restaurant, located in historic downtown Salem. A group of lovely ladies have already enjoyed a night out of fine dining and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The style is the perfect blend of old and fittingly contemporary. It is cozy and sophisticated all at the same time.

Private Residence
Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts

This renovation project sits proudly on Singing Beach in Manchester-by-the-Sea. While keeping the magnificent views in mind, Siemasko + Verbridge has designed the full renovation of this home, complete with a new three bay carriage house. The interior trim and cabinetry add beauty and functionality to the home as well.

Private Residence
Marblehead, Massachusetts

Siemasko + Verbridge has designed this new waterfront home, located in Marblehead, MA. The firm is responsible for architecture, interior design and landscape design. The warm and welcoming features take advantage of the beautiful coastal views while providing the comfort of modern conveniences. Landscape design includes a series of tiered patios overlooking the water. Completion is scheduled for June 2011.

Private Residence - Garage
Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts

Siemasko + Verbridge recently concluded design work for this custom garage, complete with a green house and loft. The use of various materials and the soothing colors make this structure functional and admirable. The firm has also completed architectural design services for the main house as well.

Hospice of the North Shore
Danvers, Massachusetts

Hospice of the North Shore has added a new wing to their facility. Siemasko + Verbridge completed interior design work for this new space. The colors and materials chosen are a perfect blend of the colors chosen for the main building, which the firm completed back in 2006.

Tree Farm Barn
Beverly, Massachusetts

This newly constructed barn sits proudly on the tree farm site that was revitalized by Siemasko + Verbridge several years ago. The new structure will house equipment needed to ensure the success of the tree farm throughout the seasons.

Guess who turned TWO ?!?!?!

Architect Brian Stein's triplets have turned two! Kira, Julia, and Amaya celebrated their second birthday this past March.

My, how time flies. These past two years have been incredible for Brian and his wife Stephanie, and they are looking forward to many more exciting years ahead. Congratulation girls! Happy second birthday to you!
